Developed the STT Swahili model during a 3-month hackathon with Mozilla Common Voice, Zindi, and Africa's Talking. Built ML algorithms for Swahili speech-to-text using Kaggle, Facebook LLaMA, and Jupyter (IPython) for rapid prototyping. Worked with a cross-functional team to train and evaluate models with diverse datasets.
